Upper Elementary Teacher position available immediately with The Green Valley School in Pembroke, NH:
The Green Valley School is currently seeking an Upper Elementary Teacher to join our faculty for the remainder of this school year, and for the 2026-2027 academic year and beyond. We greatly appreciate sharing this opportunity within the METTC network.
Green Valley School is a small, private Montessori school located on a 3-acre campus in Pembroke, New Hampshire. We are looking for an Upper Elementary teacher to join our 4th through 8th grade classroom this year. The successful candidate will partner with another teacher in guiding a class of approximately 20–25 students.
Montessori certification (or one in progress) from a MACTE-accredited program is preferred, but not required. We will also consider applicants who hold a BA/BS degree and have teaching experience or other experience working with elementary-aged children in a group setting. The ideal candidate will be committed to collaborating with a small, dedicated staff to educate the whole child with compassion and respect, and to understanding and implementing Montessori best practices in the classroom. All staff members must pass a criminal background check, and CPR/First Aid certification will be required after hiring.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience, and we offer employee tuition reduction.
